Hi Jane
Just to let you know, I took your bait out for the first time on the weekend on a water that has not seen a carp come out since December, three anglers had been there for 4 days and not had a carp.
I managed to get a 15 and a 16.5 out using the Heat pop ups. Not the biggest in the lake but I am still very happy with the results.
Thank you
Regards

After carp fishing for the past 17yrs fishing day ticket waters then progressing onto syndicate waters,
My PB is 42lb and I have caught many other 30lb + fish in this country ,I have now settled on my current syndicate and this will be my 4th year as a member, throughout the years I have learnt that using good bait is fundamental in achieving good results. I am also a big believer in good water craft being the most important part of being successful have found that when presenting this bait in the right areas it will out fish all other baits being used, I know that is a bold statement but I have fished with Heat in -3 temperatures and been the only person to catch and there were 4 other members all fishing with baits which are used regularly on the mention lake. My last visit to another one of the syndicate lakes was on the weekend 19th-21st March, the last reported fish in the log book was way back in November and I was informed by the syndicate owner that it was really slow with nothing being caught. I arrived at the lake and was lucky enough to see 2 fish show in open water as soon as I walked up the steps from the car park that made my mind up to fish in the swim which allowed me to fish this area along with an island feature. Once set up and settled in I decided to spread approx ½ a kg of Heat about in my chosen areas, after less than an hour I had my first take and landed the first fish of the session. After having caught my fifth fish it was becoming common knowledge that it was the smaller fish which had woken up first on this particular lake, even though this was the case I finished with
2 x 20’s up to 23lb-02oz
3 x Doubles up to 18lb 8oz
6 x Singles including 3 x ghosts and a 8lb Koi which had not been seen before.I also gave a few handfuls of bait to two different blokes who had walked over from the next lake having heard of what was going on as regards to me catching a few more than normal. Both of these members went on to catch 20lb + fish
Catching 11 fish on this water is unheard of , and catching the 11 fish was all down to the bait as wherever I placed the rods I was getting interest ,there is a big head of 20’s in this lake and I am so confident that in a couple of weeks when I return I just know a fair few more will slip up to this what seems to be an irresistible bait.I would take Heat anywhere and have ordered 70kg for France.
The service you get from Burnham Baits is unbelievable really, its nice to deal with a family company who really care and nothing seems too much.Everything Mansel told me about the bait has been proved right and he seems to listen and wants your input and feedback . I am really happy I have found a bait in which I have 100% confidence in.

arrived at the lake for a three night session, had a look around and see loads of fizzing in one of my favourite swims, so i set up camp and decided to just cast single pva bags of crushed boilies and pellets to the fizzing patches. Within an hour of casting out i had a take on my right hand rod, which was cast to the edge of a large gravel patch in the middle of the lake, after a short fight i landed one of the new stock only put into the lake a week or so ago, it was a nice little mirror of around 10lb.The rest of the day was very quite, i rebaited with my pva bags just before dark and settled down for the night.
The next morning the lake looked a lot quiter with only a few little fizzing patches dotted around, one of the patches caught my eye as i'd seen it in the same place the previous day and most of the morning. I decided this would be the place to bait up and hope the fish come back onto it the next morning, i baited up with a mix of hemp, pellets and boilies and placed my single boilie hookbait over the top. It was another quite night with only the odd beep coming out of my buzzers, the next morning the lake was totally still with no signs of fish anywhere.
I stuck with my baited spots and hoped the fish would move back in and start feeding again, it was a long day and i thought i'd missed my chance of hooking another fish, so i resided to my bivvie and got my head down for the night.
The next morning i was awaken by my rod on the baited patch screaming off, i jumped out of bed and grabbedmy rod, after a 35 minute fight i slipped the net under the fish. I had managed to land (trio) the mirror at 37lb 2oz, i used a fox leadcore leader, 2oz stealth lead on a safty clip, 10inch korda hybrid (soft) hooklink, size 10 ESP raptor big T hook, and burnham baits tropic2 boilies.

Customer French Trip
Catch report I went to Margot Lake in France for a weeks fishing in September with 5 of my mates, we had booked the whole lake to have it exclusively to ourselves. I fished at 100 yards in front of me on a silty bottom. I dropped a marker float from the boat where it was 6 feet deep and then another marker float 20 yards further out where it was 12 feet deep. I mixed up hemp, maize and salt and added a few handfuls of your x-tract boilies to the mix. I rowed out to the middle of the 2 markers and then scooped the mix in a line from 1 marker to the other. I then fetched my baited rigs which were made up of a 12 inch length of Sufix brown sheath skin, tied to a size 4 Korda wide gape barbed hook and 4oz lead, 3 inch hair with 2 x-tract boilies topped off with either a piece of maize or half an x-tract boilie. I rowed out again and dropped the 3 rigs in a line over the baited area between the markers and threw in a few more handfuls of boilies over the top of the rigs. I had my 1st fish in the early hours of my 1st night fishing which was a 30lb 4 oz Mirror Carp. Then I caught nothing for the next 2 days whilst my 5 mates were picking up the odd fish but nothing to write home about. From the 3rd day the fish started to come and once I had caught a fish I would then keep repeating my baiting process. I think the fish must have taken a liking to the x-tract boilies as I managed to accumulate the highest weight in fish over the week and I caught the majority of the biggest fish! My mates used different makes of boilies or types of bait and they didn't have the same success as me.

I recently bought some X-tract Boilies from you, for my Boyfriend to take with him on his week's fishing trip to France.
I justed wanted to let you know that he had a successful trip on Margot Lake.
He caught 13 fish of which:- 5 were 20lb+ (2 x Mirror, 1 x Common & 2 x Koi) 5 were 30lb+ (1 x Mirror & 4 x Grass) 3 were 40lb+ (1 x Mirror 41lb & 2 x Grass 41lb & 43lb) I've attached photos of the 41lb Mirror, 43lb Grass and 23lb Koi. He had a great time and was really pleased with the results from using your bait. He will definitely be using your baits again and wants to try them out on waters in the UK to hopefully improve his PB here!
